For as long as I can remember, I’ve been fascinated by big cats. From documentaries about leopards adapting to city life in India to stories of snow leopards in the Himalayas, I’ve always felt drawn to their mystery and resilience. But what started as childhood curiosity has grown into something bigger, a career path and a mission.
Conservation is not easy. It’s competitive, often underfunded, and filled with setbacks. Many young people give up on this path because it feels impossible to break in. But I believe that with persistence, community, and storytelling, it’s possible to make a difference, and that’s why I’m sharing this journey openly.
This blog is where I’ll document my path from a student in London to the field, to (one day) a researcher leading projects on big cats and human coexistence. Along the way, I’ll share:
